Take a break from your responsibilities and stay three days on the Oregon Coast. Visit the quaint and quintessential coastal town of Nye Beach in Newport, Oregon. Stay at the Nye Haven Beach Condo in Newport, recently updated and within walking distance of the Ocean. Some say it has the feel of a “mini-San Francisco”.
Dine one day at Georgie’s Beachside Grill. As you enter, the first thing you notice is the view – the Pacific Ocean unfolds from tableside windows and sets the scene for a remarkable dining experience.
Enjoy another dining experience at Clearwater Bistro, overlooking sea lions and fishing boats. The food is seasonal and local: sourced fresh seafood, grain fed meats, sustainably harvested organic foods, and other ingredients from local vendors whenever possible.
Take a Seattle Seaplane Tour where everyone has a window seat, and experience a 20-minute narrated sightseeing tour of Seattle. You will see Lake Union’s famous houseboat communities, the UW campus, lakeside and bayside estates, the sports stadiums and the dramatic downtown skyline on Elliott Bay. And see what MoPOP looks like from the air!
In the evening, wine and dine at Canlis, truly a Seattle icon, and winner of the James Beard Outstanding Wine Program Award for 2017. This storied building was first designed by Roland Terry in 1950. Both Jim Cutler and Geroge Suyama have helped develop it into an iconic expression of modern design. It continues to delight guests from all over the world with its natural light and stunning view of Lake Union and the Cascade mountain range.
The Fotopoulos family invites your party to revel at their traditional Greek restaurant and bar. Enjoy home-style recipes from the Peloponnese region of Greece while taking in the spectacular West Seattle view of Elliott Bay.
